4 students participating in MSU-WP China study program

WEST PLAINS, Mo. — Four students from Missouri State University-West Plains will spend the 2020 spring semester studying at the university’s branch campus at Liaoning Normal University (LNU) in Dalian, China, as part of the China Semester Study Away Program.

The students include Morgan Breidt of Springfield, Sarah Greene of West Plains, Kidane Howell of West Plains, and Zachary King of West Plains.

In addition to taking classes, they also will work as interns in the branch campus’ offices and teach conversational English to Chinese students. Through this experience, they will learn more about the Chinese culture, history and language and develop an increased awareness of the country’s growing business relationship with the U.S., according to the university.

The group will leave February 15 and return at the end of June.
