Ozark National Scenic Riverways tentatively plans to conduct the Alley Spring Prescribed Burn in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Conservation on Monday, March 22, 2021. This prescribed burn encompasses 785 acres and is located northwest of Alley Spring. Park visitors near Alley Spring, as well as those traveling on State Highway 106 may notice smoke from the prescribed burn. The hiking trails around Alley Spring could be subject to closure during periods of the prescribed burn.
