Alton, MO. – An Alton resident has been seriously injured following a one-vehicle accident on Saturday, September 30th.

A Chevy Tahoe was being operated Westbound along Highway 160, South of West Plains when the crash occurred at 1:15pm.
According to the report, Joshua Osborne, 30 of Alton, travelled off the right side of the roadway before overcorrecting and leaving again off the left side. The vehicle overturned and was totaled during the accident.
Osborne was not wearing a safety device at the time, and suffered serious injuries. Air ambulance services were employed to transport the driver to Cox South in Springfield for treatment.
