A West Plains man is charged with kidnapping, assault and unlawful use of a weapon after an incident last month in the Junction Hill area. Court records show that Dalton Thompson is accused of holding the victim against her will in a bedroom by standing at the doorway with a loaded handgun. Thompson was arrested after the Howell County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance call at the residence.
Arraignment for charges of second-degree kidnapping, fourth-degree domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon is set for March 17.
