An Eminence teen is charged with second-degree harassment after allegedly sending threatening statements on Snapchat to another student. The student who was the target of the threat showed it to a school counselor, and the message was then reported to a detective with the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office.
Abigail Contrell told the detective that she made the post to scare specific students at the high school. During arraignment on Thursday, the state announced that they are requesting jail time for Contrell. She has pleaded not guilty and is due back in court next week.
