Ash Flat Woman Arrested in Oregon County on Drug Possession

Oregon County authorities say a Ash Flat woman was arrested after a traffic stop on Route A the afternoon of April 18.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s probable‑cause statement, troopers stopped a Hyundai Tiburon after it crossed the centerline twice and both occupants were unbelted. The passenger, identified as Cathy Marie Wilcox, allegedly produced a glass smoking device containing a white crystal substance. Troopers wrote that the substance appeared to be methamphetamine.
