Baxter County, AR. – Baxter Health recently added a new member to their staff. Dr. J Broussard is a vascular surgeon and specialist and will be helping out in the Vascular Clinic with Dr. F. Michael Bauer, Dr. James Munns, Dr. Kent Nachtigal, and nurse practitioners Emily Brown and Kathy Prinner.
Dr. Broussard graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge before he went on to Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Afterward, he graduated from a general surgery residency and vascular surgery specialty training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Dr. Broussard started doing his practice in Jackson, Tennessee for 25 years before he relocated to Mountain Home. He will be bringing another pair of hands to the team for complex abdominal aortic aneurysms and other vascular surgeries involving the mesenteric and subclavian arteries, and carotid bypass surgery.
