Brandsville, MO. – The Howell County Sheriff’s Office recently reported an arrest that took place on Friday, February 16th, regarding a domestic dispute where a man was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
According to an announcement from the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies Malone and Thomas were dispatched to a call of a possible assault. It was on arrival that the pair had made contact with the victim, who had appeared to have what was worded as “significant injuries” to his head and face caused by being struck with multiple objects.
The male was sent off to the hospital, and contact with made with the suspect, identified as Jackie L. Bruffett. Bruffett was taken into custody and was placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of 1st Degree Assault as well as Armed Criminal Action.
