Houston, MO. – A teen driver from Cabool is recovering from serious injuries sustained in a multiple overturn crash that happened early this morning in Texas County.
Master Sergeant D.B. Pounds was the Highway Patrol’s investigator for this event. The crash is written to have occurred at 1:15am this morning, July 18th.
Gabrielle Lewis was driving a Chevy Aveo on Highway 63, travelling Northbound, when she travelled off the right side of the roadway. She then overcorrected and travelled off the left side of the roadway and overturned multiple times.
The vehicle was totaled and Lewis had to be transported to Cox South in Springfield via air ambulance services. She was not wearing a safety device.
In assistance on this crash were the Texas County Sheriff’s Department and the Houston Rural Fire Department.
