Caulfield man pleads guilty to shooting at his children, receives probation

West Plains, MO. – A Caulfield man who shot a firearm at his children and their mother has pled guilty to the crimes and a sentence has been given.

Cody Hopkins was charged with 2nd-degree domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon – subsection 4, and resisting arrest for his actions on October 12, 2022. Hopkins had initially entered a plea of not guilty but accepted a plea agreement. Hopkins has been assigned five (5) years of suspended imposition of sentence, or SIS, probation for the three charges.
