Mountain Grove, MO – A three-vehicle crash two miles east of Mountain Grove on Highway 60 sent three individuals to the hospital Thursday morning.
The crash happened on the westbound lane of Highway 60 when a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Michaela Kahnert, 24 of Norwood, attempted to make a right turn from an outer road onto Highway 60, striking a 2015 Toyota Carolla driven by Shelia Lane, 65 of Mountain Grove. The Carolla spun and struck the passenger side of a 2020 Chevy Equinox driven by Stephen Lewis, 72 of Ozark.
Lewis and his passenger, Sheri Barton, 58 of Ozark, were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of their injuries. Lane was taken to Cox Medical center for her injuries.
This accident was investigated by Trooper M. Wiseman of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G.
