From The Missouri Department of Corrections:
At 05:25 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025, resident James Caraway, DOC No. 1337809,
was pronounced dead at South Central Correctional Center medical unit in Licking,
Missouri.
Caraway was an 81-year-old resident serving a 24-year sentence for two counts of
possession of child pornography from Howell County. Caraway was received in the
Missouri Department of Corrections on Jan.15, 2019.
Caraway died of apparent natural causes.
