Deer Collision Leads to Injuries for Mansfield Resident

Mountain Grove, MO. – A Mansfield resident has sustained injuries in the latest crash involving a deer, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

This Wright County crash was investigated by Trooper N.B. Poynter of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.

According to the report, the location of the crash was on US 60, two miles West of Mountain Grove at roughly 8:18pm. Delaura Shipley, a 61-year-old resident of Mansfield, struck a deer while driving Eastbound. Her 2018 Jeep Renegade was extensively damaged during the collision.

Shipley sustained moderate-class injuries in the accident, and was taken by Mercy Ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
