Houston, MO – The TCMH Healthcare Foundation is proud to announce the success of the Annual D&L Florist Hospice of Care Tree Contest, which raised $408.12 to support the TCMH Hospice of Care program. This beloved annual event, hosted by Lesa Davis, owner of D&L Florist, featured nine stunningly decorated trees, each vying for votes from the community. Every penny donated counted as a vote, with all proceeds going directly to Hospice of Care.
Lesa Davis, the driving force behind the contest, expressed her gratitude to everyone who participated. “The Tree Contest has become a holiday tradition that brings joy to the community while supporting an important cause,” said Davis. “I’m always amazed by the generosity of our patrons, who not only celebrate the season with us but also contribute to the incredible work Hospice of Care does for families in our region.”
Jeff Gettys, President of the TCMH Healthcare Foundation, praised the ongoing partnership with D&L Florist. “This event is a shining example of how a community can come together to make a meaningful impact,” Gettys shared. “Lesa’s dedication and the community’s generosity ensure that Hospice of Care can continue providing exceptional, compassionate care. We are truly grateful for their unwavering support.”
Cheryl Maley, Director of Hospice of Care, emphasized the importance of donations like this. “Every dollar raised helps us offer comfort and dignity to patients and their loved ones during life’s most difficult times,” said Maley. “The Tree Contest is a heartwarming way to bring people together in support of our mission, and we’re incredibly thankful to Lesa and the community for their continued generosity.”
The TCMH Healthcare Foundation and Hospice of Care extend their heartfelt thanks to D&L Florist and everyone who participated in this year’s contest. Your contributions make a lasting difference in the lives of families in need.
