Ava, MO – The Douglas County Sheriff has arrested a Mansfield man on numerous counts of possession of a controlled substance. On September 2, 2021 at approximately 1:35 p.m., Lieutenant Taylor Wallace conducted a traffic stop on County Road 510 and made contact with Joseph Bell, age 41, of Mansfield, Missouri. During the traffic stop, Lt. Wallace seized several grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Joseph Bell is currently on Felony Probation for Possession of Controlled Substance. Joseph Bell is being held on a Probation Warrant, and is pending numerous Felony charges through the Sheriff’s Office. Joseph Bell has 13 prior Felony drug arrests.
All subjects are innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
