Douglas County Community Foundation opens fall grant round

The Douglas County Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its Fall 2026 community grant round. Applications are due by Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Individual grant awards of up to $2,000 are available. Applicants are asked to ensure their organization’s name and mailing address are correct, as the Community Foundation of the Ozarks will mail checks directly to organizations whose applications are approved.

Nonprofit agencies with 501(c)(3) status or similar tax-exempt status are eligible to apply. Eligible organizations may include schools, faith-based organizations and governmental entities.

Eligible nonprofits can begin the application process online at cfozarks.org/applyforgrants.

The Douglas County Community Foundation was founded in 2003 with a mission to enhance the quality of life in Douglas County through resource development, community grantmaking, collaboration and public leadership. To date, the foundation has distributed more than $594,318 in grants to the community.

Founded in 1973, the Community Foundation of the Ozarks is the region’s largest public charitable foundation. It serves a network of donors, 53 regional affiliate foundations, including the Douglas County Community Foundation, and nonprofit partners across central and southern Missouri.
