According to both probable cause statements, Shively has had an ongoing issue with threatening his girlfriend and his neighbors. On Dec. 10, Shively’s girlfriend had told deputies he had put his hands on her multiple times and threatened to kill her, her children, and her family and friends. She continued by saying she has had to jump out of the way as Shively attempted to run her over with a moving vehicle. Three other people in the neighborhood had also complained about Shively threatening their lives or someone else’s life in front of them.

On Dec. 16, deputies returned to the area to address additional threats Shively is said to have told his neighbors. In the PC statement, the deputy was told by Shively that he would take care of his neighbors and was calling his outlaw motorcycle gang to handle the problem. The deputy quoted Shively as saying “We will see who is left when they get done”. The deputy claims to have overheard Shively making a phone call and a male voice on the other side of the phone saying, “I will call the boys and we will head that way by morning”. The deputy has Shively admitting on body camera that he had threatened to kill his neighbors multiple times.

Shively is being held in the Shannon County Jail on a $10,000 bond for the Terrorist Threatening charge and a bond of $50,000 for the multiple Harassment charges.
