Eminence, MO – A married couple from Eminence lost their lives in a one-vehicle accident early Sunday morning.
The accident occurred at 12:45 a.m. on October 3, 2021, four miles west of Eminence on County Road 308 at Alley Springs. A westbound 2008 GMC Sierra went off the left side of the roadway and overturned into a creek. The driver, Michael Adams, 54 of Eminence, and passenger, Kimberly Adams, 55 of Eminence, were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by Shannon County Coroner Sam Murphy. Neither were wearing a safety device.
This makes the 21st and 22nd fatalities for Troop G compared to 32 fatalities at this time in 2020. This crash was investigated by Corporal S. Crewse and Crash Team 4 Corporal M. Lemedico with the assistance of Trooper N. Frazier, the U.S. Park Rangers, Shannon County Sheriff’s Department, and the Eminence Fire Department.
