Brandsville, MO. – A grim crash occurred yesterday on US 63 just North of Brandsville, MO. Injuries range from serious to fatal, and two vehicles were involved.
The responding Missouri State Highway Patrolman to investigate was Master Sergeant T.W. Meyer of Troop G.
According to the report, this crash occurred when a Northbound Dodge Durango swerved into the path of a Southbound Kia Soul, totaling both vehicles. The time of the crash was 12:37pm on Wednesday, August 16th.
The driver of the Durango was Rebecca Reed, a 28-year-old female from Hardy, Arkansas. She suffered minor injuries and was taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.
The driver of the Soul, however, 55-year-old Thayer Resident Tonya Thurman, sustained serious injuries she succumbed to at 2:09pm at Ozarks Healthcare. An occupant of the Soul, Charles Greer, 41 of Thayer, sustained serious injuries as well and is recovering in Springfield after being air-lifted to Cox South.
