Pet Lovers! – Here are last week’s Featured Pet of the Day wrap-ups. I’m sorry I was late. These posts are to help bring awareness to the overcrowding in pet shelters and rescues. Last week’s pets are all being held at Ozarks Pet Rescue and are waiting to find families. All of these puppies have never had one. On Monday, we featured Edward. Edward is a 9-week-old male Springer Spaniel Mix who is waiting for his first family at Ozarks Pet Rescue. He is a happy and fun-loving playful puppy who enjoys spending his time playing with his 1 sister and 5 brothers. He started to learn leash training, crate training, and basic commands. Edward has had his 1st set of vaccines, has been dewormed, had Nexguard Plus, is Microchipped, and will be scheduled to be neutered. Edward has never known a family or a forever home and it is about time to give this sweet little boy one. One look at that face and you can see the sweetness in him. On Tuesday, we featured Polo. Polo is a 9-week-old male Tabby Kitten. He came to Ozarks Pet Rescue as a newborn kitten and has been waiting for his home ever since. He was bottle-fed by a foster which means he is an extremely cuddly and human-attached baby wanting a forever friend and family. According to Ozarks Pet Rescue, Polo has a unique personality and attitude and is not afraid to show affection or disgust when you tell him it is bath time. He is already litter box trained and harness trained so he can go on walks with the leash, which he loves. Polo is a completely unique kitten in everyday and unique in the best way. On Wednesday, we featured Jason. Jason is a 9-week-old male Springer Spaniel mix who is waiting for his home at Ozarks Pet Rescue. Jason has never had a home or family before and is waiting for you to finally give him one. Jason is fun-loving and beautiful and loves to spend time playing with his 1 sister and 5 brothers, one of which was featured on Monday, Edward. Jason is starting his leash training, crate training, and all his basic commands. He is a fast learner who would do wonderful in your home! On Thursday, we featured Trooper. Trooper is an 8-week-old Lab Mix Puppy being held at Ozarks Pet Rescue. This poor baby was dumped and abandoned at Mountain Grove Animal Control before he found his way to the pet rescue. Trooper got his name because a state trooper pulled over the lady who rescued him and he let her off with just a warning when he saw the little puppy rescued in the seat. He has been bottle-fed since he was three weeks, so he is an extremely cuddly and affectionate little boy, who loves his pets. Trooper has a great personality and is great with other dogs and cats! He is a funny cookie puppy, not afraid of anything, and loves to talk back. His favorite hobbies are chasing you around the living room and arguing with you. He loves to bounce his feet and play with his favorite friend which is a kitten. He also likes to play in the shower cause he loves water. He would love to finally have a loving home with a playmate if you have one already or he would love to be the only thing you give attention to. On Friday, we featured Princess. Princess is a 3-month-old calico kitty waiting at Ozarks Pet Rescue for her forever home. She was born on July 17, 2024. She has a very funny personality and loves her personal space after having to share it with her siblings for so long. You know how teenagers are. “Princess would love to have her own castle! She has 5 siblings that she shares a kennel with and they are not respecting her royalty sufficently! She can be slow to warm up but when she does she loves her snuggles.” Princess is still looking for her forever home and would really enjoy finally relaxing in a home that she knows is hers. Princess is sweet and reserved but is very loyal to her humans.
