Known for his reserved nature and stoic demeanor, Chuck found joy in his passions: barbecuing, collecting cookbooks, and building things. His commitment to his family and his country was evident, though he rarely showed his emotions outwardly. His love for the Pittsburgh Steelers was well-known, and he took pride in seeing his son, son-in-law, and grandson continue his legacy of military service.

In accordance with Chuck’s wishes, there will be no services held. His ashes will be spread at sea by the United States Navy, honoring his lifelong commitment to his Country.

Raised in the Catholic faith, we take solace in remembering Chuck’s life through Psalm 23:1-4:
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
