Mammoth Spring, AR. – A female juvenile has recently been confirmed as a fatality in a crash, according to a report from the Arkansas State Police.
This one-vehicle accident took place on State Highway 289, just south of Mammoth Spring. The time of the crash is listed as being 1:04am on Wednesday, January 17th.

The narrative of the crash reads that the driver, unidentified, lost control of their Chevy 2500 due to the ice-covered stretch of road they were on, travelled off the east side of the roadway, and struck a concrete box culvert. The vehicle then turned onto its side, and partially ejected the rear-seat passenger.
The deceased was taken to Clary Funeral Home in Thayer. The victim’s identity has not been released.
