(Mountain Home) An early morning fire has caused severe damage to a Mountain Home restaurant. Fred’s Fish House of Mountain Home located just off Highway 62 on the Highway 101 cutoff. The NorthEast Lakeside Fire Department, Gamaliel Fire Department and Henderson Fire departments responded to the blaze.
The fire was initially reported by an automated commercial alarm at 4:25 a.m. A deputy from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office responded to the restaurant and, upon seeing smoke, called for the Fire Department. The first firefighters on the scene arrived at 4:50 a.m.
