MOUNTAIN HOME, AR – The Friends of the Library, are hosting their Silent Auction now through Wednesday, November 2 in the Donald W. Reynolds Library foyer. Silent auction items include jewelry, art, crystal, model trains, and more.
To place a bid in the Silent Auction, stop by the Library to take a look at the items on display in the glass case near the entrance, and then mark your bid in the Silent Auction bidding book. All bids must be in the bidding book by 3pm on Wednesday, November 2. Winning bidders will be notified by phone or email in a timely manner. All items need to be paid for and picked up from the Library’s main desk by November 16th.

The Friends of the Baxter County Library aid in developing public understanding of the library and make it better known to the community’s citizens. Friends provide funds that would not otherwise be available through membership dues, unique contributions, annual auction, and used book sales. Proceeds benefit the Library – purchase furniture, equipment, books, and materials. Friends also provide the library staff with advanced training, education, and appreciation rewards for their fine effort to keep the Library a “State of the Art” facility and source of pride in Baxter County. Friends donate their time and hard work in our various programs and services. Friends also encourage gifts of books and materials to the library.
