The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office reports that 79-year-old Virginia F. Clem of Salem has been found safe. The Silver Alert for Clem has been canceled, but the search for another elderly person continues in Northern Arkansas.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office still has an active Silver Alert for Richard Lauren Shopen, who had been reported missing. Authorities are seeking public assistance in locating the 82-year-old man, who was last seen on March 3, 2025 in Springfield, Missouri.
Authorities believe Mr. Shopen may be traveling towards Kansas City, MO or returning to Mammoth Spring, AR. He is suspected to be driving a 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz with Arkansas license plate 151YEX.
Given his age and potential risk factors, law enforcement is urging the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings immediately.
