West Plains Fire & Rescue has ordered an evacuation of houses on a block of Ridgewood Drive and a block on Wayhaven Drive. Electric Crews are shutting power off to the area for safety purposes.
STREET CLOSURE The West Plains Fire Department has closed Wayhaven Drive, from Roe Avenue to Paula Drive, due to a natural gas leak. The gas company is on scene and working to resolve the issue.
Expect the closure to last, at least, two hours.
Please avoid the area and use alternate routes.Thank you for your understanding as crews work to ensure everyone’s safety.
