Willow Springs and Mountain Grove, MO. – If you’re looking for a way to get active, have fun, and support a fantastic cause — mark your calendars! The Autism Color Fun Run/Walk is coming soon to Willow Springs on April 5th at 10 a.m. and to Mountain Grove on April 12th at 10 a.m.
This exciting, noncompetitive 5K event is designed to bring families, friends, and entire communities together — all while raising funds for local youth programs through the YMCA and local autism organizations. As you make your way through the route, expect to be splashed with bright, vibrant colors made from safe, nontoxic colored cornstarch, creating a colorful masterpiece on your white event t-shirt!

Here’s what you need to know:
- Entry is just $20, which includes your official event t-shirt to wear and color-up during the race.
- Kids 10 and under participate for FREE! (Please note: the free entry does not include a shirt, but shirts will be available for purchase at the event for $12–$15 depending on size.)

This isn’t just a 5K — it’s a community celebration of awareness and inclusion. Along the route and at the event site, you’ll also find informational booths offering valuable resources and support for families with children on the autism spectrum.
Half of all funds raised will be donated to the local YMCAs in Mountain Grove and Willow Springs, helping provide developmental opportunities and programs for kids and families. The other half will go to a local autism organization dedicated to supporting children in our area. The event team is actively searching for the right local group and will hold those funds until they’ve identified an organization that is fully committed to supporting kids with autism spectrum disorder in our community.
