West Plains, MO. – This first golf tournament for the year for Ozark Marketing’s non-profit branch, Give Local First, has wrapped up with success.
60 golfers, making 20 teams lined up on North Terra this past Friday to compete for a good cause. Proceeds for this year’s Give Local First Events will go towards funding Howell County Special Olympics. Through this tournament $7,000 was raised, and with more fund raising events later this year, more is expected to be added.
The check from this tournament has already been presented to the athletes, which will allow the group to operate and compete at more statewide events.
