Caufield, MO. – The Sunburst Ranch is hosting a Full Moon – Glow Float so head down to the North Fork River to enjoy a midnight float trip. On Sunday, August 18, 2024, lucky individuals will be able to see the full night sky as they slowly float down the well-known North Fork of the White River. This could also be a chance to have a night off from parental duty because no kids under 17 are allowed on the adventurous trip.
Individuals will need to arrive by 6:45 p.m. and be ready to take off by 7 p.m. This float will be semi-guided and is expected to end by 11:00 p.m. All canoers and kayakers are encouraged to wear brightly colored clothing and lots of glow sticks to be seen. The trip will be kayaks and canoes only, with no other boats, floating devices, or paddle boards.
Sunburst Ranch has two package deals, one being for kayaks and the other for canoes. The kayak package includes your kayak rental, a special event t-shirt, a sticker, and glow sticks for $100. The canoe package includes your canoe rental, 2 special event t-shirts, 2 stickers, and glow sticks for $140.
The Sunburst Ranch did announce that they have limited spots available, so call and make your reservation as soon as you can. There is a $20 deposit required for booking with the remaining amount due when you check in the day of.
