Grand Jury Indicts West Plains man accused of murdering his father

West Plains, MO. – The West Plains man accused of patricide has been indicted by a public grand jury. 

On February 8th, Christopher Thomas Greenough was indicted by a public grand jury for the charge of 2nd Degree Murder. Christopher is accused of murdering his father, David Greenough on January 11, 2023.

Following the indictment, the trial scheduled for February 14th was canceled and an arraignment has been scheduled in Howell County under Judge Steven Privette for February 17th.

Greenough was arrested on January 11th after a 9-1-1 call was placed for a medical emergency. Upon arrival, David Greenough, age 60, was discovered with severe injuries to his head and face. He was taken to Ozarks Healthcare but succumbed to his injuries.

Christopher appeared to be under the influence at the time of his arrest.
