West Plains, MO. – A Grovespring man is being treated in Springfield following a one-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 1:25 p.m. on Highway DD, two miles northwest of Grovespring.
A southbound 2015 Chevy Silverado driven by Michael Lehar, age 76 of Grovespring, crossed the center of the roadway and off of the left side of the roadway, stopping after striking a tree.
The driver had not been wearing a seatbelt and suffered serious injuries in the crash. Lehar was taken by Cox Ambulance to Cox Medical Center-South in Springfield for treatment.
