West Plains, MO. – The West Plains Country Club will be hosting a golf tournament on July 21st for a local non-profit organization, the Heart of the Ozarks United Way.
This tournament is a 2-person scramble with a 1 pm shotgun start.
Stacey Tintocalis from the Heart of the Ozarks United Way gives us more information on why to be excited for this years event.
The fee to play is $125 per team, or $100 for golfers aged 65 and older, and players can sign up by calling 417 257 7184. Flight prizes will be awarded, and there will be 8 hole games and two raffles included.
In addition, there will be a deluxe nacho bar and free beer for participants.
The proceeds for this tournament will be used to raise funds for agencies which include two domestic violence shelters, four after school programs, a homeless shelter, 37th Judicial CASA, a single parent scholarship fund, and the Sadie Brown Cemetery.
