Heat Advisory Issued Today, Tomorrow Expected to be Hotter

Another burst of heat is what’s in store for us early in the work week, and the National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory in effect for sections of Missouri both north and west of our central broadcast area.

To summarize, while today will be hot, tomorrow is more of the day to worry about for most of the area. With higher humidity remaining a factor in the Ozarks this year, the expected wet bulb globe temperature will place much of the listening area into a high level of heat risk.

Those who find themselves working out in the weather tomorrow should remember to stay hydrated, and balance work in the sun with equal rest in the shade as much as possible.
