Jefferson City, Mo. – The Missouri State Highway Patrol has released their statewide totals for Winter Storm Landon since its beginning February 2, 2022.

The MSHP had 3,623 Calls for Service, 2,138 Stranded Motorist, 683 Crashes with 47 injured and one fatality.
The fatality occurred in Pulaski County as a result of a one vehicle accident and was the first fatality of 2022 for MSHP Troop I. Kuuipolani Kamai, 45 of Laquey, Mo., slid sideways in a 2017 Kia Sorento while driving on Highway P in Pulaski County before traveling off the left side of the road and striking a bridge abutment. Kamai was pronounced deceased at the scene by the County Coroner.
