Mountain Home, AR. – A fire was reported at a residence this morning on Saturday, August 14, 2024.
According to the Mountain Home Fire Department, they received the alarm of an active fire at a residence in the northwest portion of Mountain Home around 5:13 a.m. Personnel responded to the residence, which was owned by Jason Wilkinson, and were working on the fire for three hours.

The fire reportedly started in the bedroom. The residence sustained 60% fire damage, 100% smoke damage, and 60% water damage. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
There were fourteen personnel on the scene with an engine company, a ladder company, a rescue unit, and three support vehicles.
