Willow Springs Man Injured After Plane Crashes In Howell County

Willow Springs, MO. – A Willow Springs resident was injured after his plane crashed into the Howell County area.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the crash occurred on August 23, 2024, at 9:40 a.m. on 549 Horak Drive in Willow Springs. 70-year-old Thomas Crowe was operating a 1983 Quicksilver MX plane in an unknown direction when he experienced a loss of engine power. The plane was unable to recover and came down. Crowe was moderately injured and transported via ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, MO.
