Houston man seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash on Highway YY

West Plains, MO. – A Houston man was seriously injured after being involved in a one-vehicle crash in Texas County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the incident occurred at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday morning on Highway YY, ten miles south of Houston.

A westbound Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Alexander Kell, age 30 of Houston, traveled off the left side of the road and crashed into a tree, totaling the vehicle. Kell had been wearing his seatbelt and suffered serious injuries in the crash. He was airlifted to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston for treatment of his injuries.
