The Howell County Health Department reports an additional 30 cases of COVID-19 were identified Friday in the county. This brings the year-to-date total number of cases to 1,588.
Currently, there are 225 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 225, five are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 21 reside in West Plains, three live in Mountain View, four live in Willow Springs, one lives in Pomona and one lives in Summersville. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine.
