The Howell County Health Department reports that an additional twelve cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to four hundred and twenty-three.
Currently, there are one hundred and five known active cases in Howell County. Of these one hundred and five cases, six are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Ten of the new cases reside in West Plains, and two live in Willow Springs. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine.
Four of the cases are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. Eight of the cases have been linked to known cases.
