Howell County reports 41 new COVID-19 cases

The Howell County Health Department reports that an additional forty-one cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to three hundred and eighty-three.

Currently, there are one hundred and five known active cases in Howell County. Of these one hundred and five cases, seven are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.

Thirty-one of the new cases reside in West Plains, six live in Willow Springs, two live in Mtn. View and two live in Pomona. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. Twenty of the cases are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. Twenty-one of the cases have been linked to known cases.
