Howell County Sheriff’s Office Welcomes Deputy Leekota Amore as School Resource Officer

The Howell County Sheriff’s Office has officially welcomed Deputy Leekota Amore to its team. Deputy Amore was sworn in by 37th Circuit Judge Steven Privette at the Howell County Courthouse. He will serve as a School Resource Officer at one of the schools in Howell County, reinforcing the department’s commitment to student safety and community engagement.

Deputy Amore previously worked as a jailer for the Howell County Sheriff’s Office from 2023 to 2024 before pursuing his basic law enforcement training, which he successfully completed in May 2024.
