Vanzant, MO. – One Vanzant driver is recovering in Springfield after injuries sustained from a one-vehicle crash on Sunday.
Trooper W.A. Wadlington of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G was the investigator on this crash. The time was 8:40pm, and the location was Highway 95, 2 miles North of Vanzant.
Zachary Campbell, a 22-year-old Vanzant resident, was transported to Cox South in Springfield following the crash. Campbell was driving a Cadillac CTS that was totaled when he ran off the right side of the road, struck a culvert, went airborne, and finally struck a fence.
Campbell was also given criminal charges of: Misdemeanor DWI, and Careless and Imprudent Driving Involving a Motor Vehicle Crash.
Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
