Juvenile And Male Seriously Injured In Crash After Fleeing From Law Enforcement

Pulaski County, MO. – A juvenile and a man were seriously injured in a crash after fleeing from the police.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the incident occurred on September 16, 2024, at 5:43 p.m., just east of Resort Road. Thirty-year-old Dylan Orr of Laquey, Missouri, was driving a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix westbound on Highway 133. Orr was reportedly fleeing from law enforcement when he veered off the right side of the road, struck the ground, and then hit a tree. The vehicle continued to overturn several times before coming to a stop. Orr was seriously injured and transported by air to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. A 7-year-old juvenile passenger in the vehicle was also injured and was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.

The report does not specify why they were fleeing. The crash was investigated by Sergeant K.D. Rapier, Trooper I.V. Brutsky-Stempkovsky, and Reconstructionist Trooper J.C. Southwood of Troop I.
