Whether you’re a seasoned hunter or a casual recreational shooter, knowing how to properly care for your firearms is essential. The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is offering a free virtual program titled “Firearms Basic Care and Cleaning” on Wednesday, May 1, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Hosted by staff from MDC’s Andy Dalton Shooting Range and Outdoor Education Center, the program will be led by Assistant Outdoor Education Center Manager Steve Govero, who will cover important topics such as firearm cleaning, safe storage, and overall maintenance.
Participants can register for the event online at: https://mdc-event-web.s3licensing.com/Event/EventDetails/204188
The Andy Dalton Shooting Range is located at 4897 Greene County Farm Road 61, but this particular event is open to anyone across the state thanks to its virtual format.
