A Lesterville man was moderately injured early Tuesday after his vehicle ran off US 60 two miles west of Ellsinore, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Troopers report the 43‑year‑old driver was heading west when his 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a fence, and then hit a tree. The Jeep was totaled and towed from the scene.

The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
