Cabool, MO. – A Cabool resident was fatally injured in a crash after being ejected from his vehicle.
The crash occurred on September 8th, 2024, at 11:25 p.m., six miles northeast of Cabool, Missouri. Twenty-two-year-old Gedeon Mori was driving a 2008 Pontiac Torrent northbound on Highway AC when the vehicle ran off the roadway, overturned, and ejected him. Mori was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Scott Lindsey. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Mori was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
This marks Troop G’s 16th fatality for 2024, compared to 24 fatalities at the same time last year.
The crash was investigated by Trooper Z.B. Tate and Trooper C.K. Johnson of Troop G, along with the Texas County Sheriff’s Department.
