Two Out-Of-State Individuals Seriously Injured In A Two Vehicle Crash

Vanzant, MO. – Two out-of-state individuals were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the accident occurred on September 7th, 2024, at 5:36 p.m., nine miles east of Vanzant. 31-year-old David Marrocco of Mountain Grove was driving a 2010 Honda Fit westbound on Highway 76 when he crossed the center line. His vehicle collided with an oncoming 2016 Ford F350 driven by 77-year-old Diane Zuck of Laurys Station, Pennsylvania. Following the impact, Zuck’s vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. Marrocco was not injured in the crash. Zuck and her 75-year-old passenger, Jean Hunsicker of Barto, Pennsylvania, were both seriously injured. Zuck was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield via air ambulance, and Hunsicker was transported to Cox South in Springfield by air ambulance.
