Isabella, MO. – A local male was seriously injured after his vehicle caught fire following a car crash.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the incident occurred on September 13, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., two miles east of Isabella. Fifty-eight-year-old Christopher Failor was driving a 2002 Subaru Outback westbound on Highway 160 when he attempted to pass another vehicle but ran off the right side of the road and struck a fence. The vehicle then overturned in a field and caught fire.
Failor was seriously injured in the crash and was transported to Baxter Regional Hospital via ambulance for treatment. According to the report, he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The crash was investigated by Master Sergeant C.A. Hogue of Troop G.
