Teri Alleyen Tomaskovich, 51, West Plains, Missouri, passed away at 9:41 a.m., Thursday, September 12, 2024, at her home.
She was born December 14, 1972, at Los Angeles, California, to Terrance Tomaskovich and Deborah Larson. On February 14, 2012, she was married at Mobile, Alabama, to Michael Shephard. Teri loved to laugh; she had a very unique laugh. She was the life of any party; she was loving, caring, honest and trustworthy. Teri was the mom of the neighborhood; her presence was soft. She was a family woman and was always there for anyone at anytime.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Shephard, Mobile, Alabama; three children, Brittany Phillips, Zemian Claiborne and Kenneth Westry II, all of Mobile, Alabama; five grandchildren, Karl Carson, Jr. Kaiden Carson, Xorah Carson, Korei Moorer and Ezekiel James Westry; one brother, Maurice LaNear III and wife, Christy, Los Angeles, California; five sisters, Patricia Brown, Rosa Lambert, Liera Hancock, Yvette Cook and Cassandra Hendricks; her adopted parents, Ruby Overton and Maurice LaNear, Jr.; niece, Cattleya LaNear; nephew, Maurice LaNear IV; and many other friends and loved ones.
Her mother, Deborah Larson, mother-in-law, Wanda Robinson and best friend, Dawn Hicks, preceded her in death.
