Local Toy Store Raises Money For Christos House Through Lego Competition

West Plains, MO. – C7, a local family-run toy store, recently raised money for Christos House through a Lego building competition. 

C7’s Master Lego Builder MOC Competition Charity Event was held on July 13, 2024, with judging held at 1:00 p.m. Entries were turned in over a month with all entry proceeds going to support Christos House. There were donations received by individual customers who did not participate in the competition. The C7 business was able to drop off $146 in cash and $350 in bedding to the Christos House Women’s Center.

There were four prizes given out to the competitors. Their objective was to build a masterpiece with skill inside whatever theme they would like to build. The competition was won by Silas S. with his Taco Restaurant. He chose to build in the City theme. Judges expressed that Silas showed great skill and detail within his chosen theme.

Klark V. and Nora V. both won the most creative while staying in their chosen theme prize. This means that they were able to build a Lego set that best and creatively represented their chosen theme.

The last prize, which was the judges’ overall favorite, was received by Nolan V., a five-year-old boy who chose to build his Lego set based on Donkey Kong City from the Super Mario Bros. movie.
